| 0:00.0 | You'll never guess what I saw the other day while I was out walking. |
| 0:08.0 | Welcome to Walking is Fitness. This is a podcast of action, providing a little extra motivation |
| 0:14.0 | to help you keep that fitness promise you made to yourself because that's not easy. In other |
| 0:19.8 | words, right now, you are choosing to do a hard thing. |
| 0:24.2 | Hi, I'm Dave. I've been walking for fitness since 2013, averaging just under 21,000 steps a day. |
| 0:30.3 | I am walking right now and would love to have you join me for the next 10 minutes or so. |
| 0:35.7 | Another beautiful spring morning in South Carolina. We're starting |
| 0:41.0 | at 71 degrees. I think the thermometer is going to add another 10 by this afternoon. Again, today |

| 1:53.5 | And like a day or two before that email was sent, I saw a fox during my walk in the early morning. |
| 2:06.9 | It scampered across the road. |
| 2:08.5 | It was pre-sunrise, kind of when foxes are on the move. |
| 2:14.2 | And so I saw the email and I thought, well, we don't have coyote here in South Carolina, |
| 2:20.5 | at least not that I'm aware of. So it was probably the fox that I saw. Although the idea of a coyote |
| 2:27.6 | was certainly more intriguing than a fox, that's probably because in Maryland we would see fox all the time. So it wasn't |
| 2:38.4 | an unusual thing for me to look out the window and see a fox scampering across our |
