do appreciate that. I wanted to start today talking about this conundrum we seem to find

ourselves in where we are simultaneously trying to build out, you know, freedom and liberation

and all those other things at the same time that we are navigating all of the hellscape that is America right now.

And unfortunately for us, that requires us to remember some of the lessons that our ancestors understood so that we know how to move forward most effectively with the descendants of the people who did the things that our ancestors had to survive

and navigate but today I want to start by looking a bit historically surprising no one

because as is indicated by the title a white's only sign by any other name is still

basically a whites only sign now I know that y'all some of y'all anyway might tire a bit of me constantly telling you that we got to do for self and for us by us is the only way forward. Believe me, I would much rather talk to you about other things. I'd like to talk to you about my garden, about my grass, which is looking very patchy, like some young prepubescent male who is trying to grow a beard but can't quite get it there. We're working on it. I'd love to talk to you about those sorts of things. I really, really would. It's just that every single day we seem to be getting more, not so much subtle hints or signals, but we are getting like blaring alarms that whether we do for self or not, them people, they are certainly going to keep doing everything
