is empty my notebook, as I say. And obviously, the right place to start here is Charlie Kirk's assassination, which I've not talked about on this podcast, but I put out an episode.

I think it was after Luigi Mangione assassinated the United Healthcare CEO.

I put out a couple of posse, you know, some here on lost debates, some on majority 54, all about how I felt like we have now entered a new era

of political violence. And I got a lot of backlash from listeners on both podcasts who are

sympathetic to Mangione killing the United Health Care CEO. And I said that I have the, you know,

perhaps like controversial in 2025 view that killing innocent people is wrong. And you would be surprised

how many people sent me nasty messages about that what seemingly should be a fairly anodyne

uncontroversial view. And I was thinking about that this past week in light of Kirk's assassination

and the way that people have been talking about it,

I was actually on air to like, you know, I don't know, like tens of thousands, maybe 100,000 plus

people talking to Joe Kennedy the third when this all happened. And I was getting messages, you know,

from our producer saying Charlie Kirk has been shot. And so I was tag teaming this interview while going online and trying to figure out what was
