Today we're going to talk about a real benefit of walking, real benefit that you'll never know you're getting.

yesterday so I was all excited about the signs of spring coming warmer weather

the Lowe's parking lot half filled with bags of mulch and dirt the frogs that

Dave and I heard while we were out walking the other night. It's a sound

that typically we hear in the summer when the weather is warmer. And we heard them for the

first time. It's like, oh, warm weather is coming. And I've been hearing increasing bird song the birds it sounds

like there's more of them they're happier they're looking forward to the

coming warm weather as well and I was so excited that last night I have on a

table near my home office door, cold weather

gear, different size ski caps to keep my ears warm as I'm walking in wind chills that are

uncomfortable, my gloves.

And I thought, oh, I'm not going to be needing these anymore.

I put them away.

And this morning, I looked at the long range, meaning the next handful of days forecast.

And here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, we've got a couple of mornings coming soon where the temperature and the wind chill are going to be well below freezing.

So while I'm excited about the warmer weather, apparently it's not quite the clear path to spring that I was hoping for.
