Today I want to tell you about Jean Belavaux.

He spent a night in jail and he was actually grateful.

That gratitude, however, changed when they wouldn't release them.

Jean Belvoir walked around the world.

It took him 11 years. He started in 2000, finished in 2011,

went through 64 countries. The purpose of the walk was to bring attention to children who suffer violence.

Jean Beliveau walked with a three-wheeled stroller, carried his tent,

carried a sleeping bag, a first aid kit, some food, and a journal.

John Belvo, by the way, did not have a GPS.

As far as I know, did not have a smartphone with a maps program and a GPS that guided

his way.

He had some paper maps that he took with him.

He also relied on the advice he got from locals along the way.
