Today's 10 minute walk is helping you stay fitness consistent and is happening in Washington, D.C.

One of the most walkable cities in the world, so let's take a walk.

Right now I'm approaching the east side of the U.S. Capitol building.

This is a large plaza. Used to be on the side of the Capitol. The presidents

were inaugurated. That shifted to the other side, the west side of the Capitol building in 1980

with Ronald Reagan's inauguration. This building is clearly one of the most iconic famous buildings

not only in the country, United States, but also in the world. I think you could probably

show most people a picture of the U.S. Capitol building and say, what is this? Or at least where is this?

And most people would know.

They started building the Capitol in 1793.

The dome was completed in 1863,

and the Statue of Freedom was placed on top.

So that dome, by the way, this blows me away because I didn't know this.
