podcast. The title of today's podcast is a wake-up call for the church we can't ignore. A wake-up call

for the church we can't ignore. And so this week I want to share with you an interview I did with

Carrie Newhoff

on the Barner Church Pulse Weekly podcast. It was such a great interview as we touched and moved

through a variety of topics, so much so that we ended up giving it a title, which is the title

we have for this podcast, a wake-up call for

the church we can't ignore. And we felt it was a significant enough interview that we would share

it with you here. So thank you, Barnah, Church Pulse Weekly. God's wake-up call for the church

is, of course, much more than what we're going to talk about here. But I'm convinced that what you

would, but I am convinced that what you would, but I am

convinced that what you will hear in this podcast is part of that. Our particular contribution

that we are making to God's broader wake-up call to the church around the world. Now, our

contribution is grounded in church history. and we are convinced that the next generation

of leaders, our generation of leaders, needs the ability to draw from the riches of church

history to lead into the future that God has for us.

It provides perspective and depth and breadth and a global perspective.

It's part of the wake-up call.
