It's going to be a lot more than three questions. Originally, we had thought about making a fun play

on words and doing 30 more questions, but realized that that would probably be a two-hour interview

if we did 30.

So it's not quite 30, but it is more than three.

And I think our listeners are going to love it.

And we're probably giving everybody a little bit too much inside bingo.

All right, David, I got to start out by asking, what made you want to write how leaders learn in the first place?

Well, the thing that has always driven me, I think even from my early days, my youthful days in high school,

is that I've had this intense desire to learn everything I can from everybody I know

and learn from situations, but always take stock of what's happened to me and then really figure

out what I can learn from it. And then more importantly, do something about it. When I started writing this book,
