Hey nerds, quick bit of enormous news. I am so excited to say that I have a new book coming out in

June of this year, and not only is it just a new book, but it is a fully illustrated retelling

of The Odyssey. It's aimed at children 9 to 12, but don't let that fool you. It's a shortened

retelling, but I kept it true to the original in every way that matters.

But would you rather go by L? Or is it just sort of what you put on your books? Do you know, I've, I've dug myself into a hole now. Relatable again. Because I'm a teacher, I was like, I'm going to keep this life separate. Oh, yeah, yeah. And at school I go by initials. So before I got married, my initials were

L-E-J. I was literally Ledge, which was delightful. And then I got married now. I'm L-J-B, which is still

cool. But now I am Jenks online. Yeah. And then I was like, well, what do I put on the front cover

of my book? Do I put Laura? No, I'll just put L. But then my website is Laura. And I just don't know anymore. And I don't think you need to. So that works. I'll call you Laura because we're friends. And that's what I would call you. But also as somebody who did not think hard enough before putting the word baby in her podcast title.

Like I also, I live with this forever.

And I just have to use the words Myths Baby a lot.

And I don't love it.

Mostly because sometimes people call me Myths Baby as if it's my name. And I'm also

like, I know I did that to myself because all of my handles are that. But it's weird. So anyway. I'm trying not to giggle because I know you hate it. And I just think it's such a delight. I live with it. It's fine. I know everyone loves it. It's good. It is funny though when I have to tell people like what what my career is.

And I say, they like assume it's a hobby. And I'm like, no, it's not. I recognize it sounds wacky that I make a living off of this. I know. It's super cool and weird. You haven't sung the song. I know. And I won't. And I won't. I don't sing it in front of other people.
