And this week we will both be speaking with Daniela Castillo.

And she is such a rare, wonderful human.

In fact, I wish she was not so rare, honestly, because she is an animal rights veterinarian.

Yep, you heard that correctly, an animal rights veterinarian.

This is a wide-ranging conversation, and it includes Daniela's personal history, which took her from Mexico

to Australia to California, which is where she is now. And we'll also be talking about the state

of veterinary medicine and the disheartening reality of the failure of so many members of the

profession to stand up for animals. And Marian, I enjoyed

doing this interview with you. It was like a blast from the past to do it together.

I thought we would be stumbling all over each other, but I think we did fine. But we were using a
