Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Lent begins this Ash Wednesday. The most

sacrificial and most difficult Lent I ever had was when my spiritual

director said to me, Mike, your life is out of control.

You need to change things and live a well-ordered and balanced life this lent.

But to live out a balanced life, we can't just cut out one bad habit.

We need a twofold plan to achieve this, a human plan and a divine or spiritual plan.

Today we'll talk about the human plan, tomorrow divine now as humans God designed us to need specific good things in our life we need physical goods such as sleep food drink exercise and we need

relationships with family and friends but we also need achievement or accomplishment, that is, the way we make the world a better place.

And we need truth and we need beauty.

Since grace builds on nature, let's take these one by one in this meditation and get our

human life in order for Lent. The first thing we need to put in place is a disciplined plan to get adequate sleep, to take the time to prepare and eat properly, and to exercise.

So what changes do you need to make in this realm?

Our Father who art in heaven, hallow it would be your name.

Thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses

as we forgive those who trespass against us

and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, amen.
