Welcome to another Thursday's with Trey and Mary Langston.

Let me get the bad news out of the way first.

Mary Langston is taking the first break.

I can remember her taking into five plus years of known her.

She did take the afternoon off when she got married.

Well, part of the afternoon.

But this is the first extended time off.

And even though I thought it was a good idea at the time for her to go somewhere and do

something fun for a week, I now regret it.

And I can assure you I will not make this mistake again.

But I'll ask all is not lost.

I am revisiting a conversation I had with another remarkable young woman.

Naomi Schaefer Riley.

Naomi is an author and a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and a senior

fellow at the Independent Women's Forum.
