Hello, and welcome back to Steriology 101. We are back

from the Southern Baptist Convention and traditionalist we can declare a victory. Yes,

indeed, a traditionalist was elected as the next president of the Southern Baptist Convention.

I know we didn't think that he was a traditionalist based upon the things that we had heard and read earlier, but based upon what I heard at the convention itself, we elected a traditionalist. And so we can claim victory. Now, obviously, we had Ken Himpil on, and he was very clear prior to the election as to where he stood, writing a book called Unlimited and very clearly stating his

perspective. J.D., we were uncertain of because of several affiliations and several quotes

that we'll go over here in a little bit. But at the convention itself, he came right out

real, real clearly in a message that he preached on Monday night at the pastor's conference,

and we'll go over a portion of it here in just a second, as you can see there on the screen.

And you can also look at his nomination speech from Ken Whitten, who said this when he was nominated.

Gospel preacher that believes the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and full

plenary word of God.

And he will continue this convention's unquestioned commitment to the

truthfulness of God's word.

He's a whosoever will gospel preacher, and he believes that anybody anywhere at any time can be saved.
