Welcome back to another coffee chat episode

where we catch up on what's been going on behind the scenes and

talk through what I am learning this week but today is a bit different. If you were

a regular listener to the podcast you may have noticed that I took a couple of weeks off.

And that is because my dear Granny Jane passed away.

And I just gave myself some time, and I'm grateful that that was available and that we were able to make that happen and I appreciate you for understanding.

I thought it would be nice to talk about Granny Jane today.

She was such a monumental figure in my life and it just feels appropriate to catch up with you and to share about her.

I was talking with a coworker of mine about grief and how it may not seem like it, but I think the best question to be asked when you're in a grieving

process is tell me about them, because that is always what I want to do. I always want to tell stories. I get so

nostalgic and I don't want to pretend like it's not happening. I don't want to weigh

everyone else down with my grief, but I also want to talk about it. I want to talk about

them and what they meant to me. That's what we're going to do today. We're going to talk about

who Granny Jane was in my life and the parts of me that exist because she existed.

We'll back up a little bit and share about kind of who she was and what happened.
