Hello and welcome back to practicing human, the podcast where every day we're getting a little better at life.

I'm your host, Corey Miscara, and in today's episode, we're going to talk about the importance of knowing your no in order to know your yes.

More to come on that in a moment. First, let's settle in together with the sound of the bells. Okay. So if you're a human being, chances are you have to make decisions in life. Some of them

0:46.0

are easier decisions. Like, okay, what am I going to have for breakfast today? Am I going to

0:50.6

shower or not? Sometimes these can be hard decisions. But other times we have more

0:55.8

significant decisions. Should I take this job or not? Should I stay in this relationship or not?

1:02.5

1:45.6

something. And then as it relates to the downsides of it, we might touch on it, but not necessarily fully

1:55.4

or not always really go into that fully, because maybe there's a fear that if we go too deep into it,

2:02.7

well then we won't be connecting fully to the yes or will scare us ourselves out of the yes.

2:10.6

Or it just doesn't feel relevant if we're really trying to tell ourselves that this is going to be

2:16.7

a good thing for us. However, if we don't

2:19.8

allow ourselves to fully go into our nose and really embody the felt sense of why this might not be

2:28.3

good for us, the subconscious perception of what this could take away from us, the freedom it could

2:33.7

take away from us, the freedom it could take away from
