Just kidding. I am no longer in the emergency room. If you follow me on Instagram, you might know that I was indeed in the ER last weekend with pneumonia, and I'm back. I'm

home and I'm feeling a lot better. Antibiotics are a magical thing. Science is a magical thing.

But I did want to update everyone on what happened and how I'm feeling now. And the best way for me to do that

is always just to call Glynnis and talk it through. But don't worry, this episode is not all

doom and gloom. We are also going to get into one of my favorite topics, which is, are Americans

having enough fun? Do we need more fun in our lives? The answer, as you know, is of course, yes, yes, and yes.

This morning, Joe sent me into, like, I don't know think depression, but like sadness,

just like almost grief where I just woke up and I was like,

this is awful. We need a new word for this, actually, because I don't think it's, it's not depression.

It's a combination. I, you know, it's, I'm just going to babble here because I, it's a complete unknown is what it is.

Yeah.

And it's, it's, I mean, I was rereading a book from the 80s by Malone Cundera, the book of

Laughter and Forgetting, and which is about Czechoslovakia, um, become an authoritarian. And I was like,

man, most of the rest of the world has been through this. It's just America's go around with it.

And America's way too much power. And the implications of this are so enormous. And they're not going to get better even if we get rid of them.

Do you know what I mean?

No, no, no, they're not.

The degree of trust that has been eradicated in the last two weeks,

and really, and I say this as a Canadian,
