How's I'm feeling about the world right now? Rosie, good. It's just nice. Like a bath.

I, for one, feel ridiculously bad about it most of the time i'm terrified of all of the things and there's something new every day i i'm really on a a big time news diet

right now uh for my sanity and i I think that we all have to stay informed

and we all have to protect ourselves. So I really, really hope that you are protecting yourself.

One of the things that I want a lot of right now is hope. I want someone to hold my hand

and tell me that all is not lost. I really,

really want that when it comes to talking about women and gender equity, because that's one of

those things that I'm just not feeling the best about. It's not just that the government continues to trample on women's rights and freedoms

and women's ability to have equity in the workplace. I'm worried because I see so much of the

culture shifting away from giving women equity with men. And the culture thing is a whole other topic that we're going to be getting into a lot

in the next couple of months. I want you to know that I am on it. I am on it, for reals. Also,

the raw milkmaid dress is going to be here any day, and I'm pretty close to securing a cow

so that I can wear the raw milk made dress while milking something. Yeah, get excited for that.

See, there is hope. There is a bright shining light in the universe. Today, however, we are

diving into the crucial topic of gender equity in the workplace with our guest Siri Chilazzi.

Siri is a senior researcher at the Women and Public Policy Program at Harvard's Kennedy School,

whose life's work is to advance gender equity in the workplace.

Her new book, Make Work Fair, just hit shelves.
