This is a Fox News Alert, a deadly shooting at a high school in Georgia.

Several people also hurt, and police say a teenage student is in custody.

Four people were killed at Appalachian High School in Baro County, Georgia, and nine people

were injured.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey identified the shooter.

He is a 14-year-old student here at the high school. the engaged to the suspect who immediately surrendered.

The shooter was interviewed and he was speaking with our investigators earlier, along with

the GBI.

He said the response from multiple agencies likely prevented a worse outcome.

Boxes, Jessica Rosenthal, Vice President Harris, campaigning in New Hampshire,

called the shooting a senseless tragedy.

And it's just outrageous that every day in our country in the United States of America, that parents have to

send their children to school worried about whether or not their child will come

home alive.

Tara is saying she's in favor of the Second Amendment but said we need reasonable gun safety laws.
