Attorney General Merrick Garland has announced criminal charges against Yagwa, Yaya

Sinwar and other Hamas leaders.

As outlined in our complaint, those defendants armed with weapons, political support,

and funding from the government of Iran and support from Hezbollah have led Hamas's efforts to destroy the state of

Israel and murder civilians in support of that aim.

Garland says Hamas has murdered thousands of civilians including dozens of

American citizens and on

October 7th committed the worst mass murder of Jews since the

Holocaust and he says the Justice Department is investigating the murder of

American Hirsch Goldberg Poland whose body was recovered over the weekend and other Americans as acts of terrorism.

White House Press Secretary Khore Jean-Pierre said this afternoon President Biden's been very clear about Hamas

leaders and what they have done. Hamas is responsible. They have more American

blood on their hands. The president was clear about that in his statement and he will and he has been he

has been over almost a year now has been very clear about that and will continue

to be so. John Pierce says President Biden believes both sides need to continue to work to get a ceasefire

and hostage deal done. A federal judge has rejected former President Trump's

request to intervene in his New York hush money case, ending his latest bid to overturn his felony conviction

and delay his sentencing.

The judge ruling that Trump has not satisfied the burden of proof needed for a federal

court to take the case from the state court where it was tried.
