Bomb explosions are sadly commonplace for the inhabitants of Baghdad.

But when 300 Iraqis died earlier this month as a result of an explosion caused by so-called

Islamic State, the bomb site was turned into a makeshift shrine, a rare memorial which drew many

of the capital's inhabitants, including two men who Lee's Dusset met. This is a story of Kerem and Siddeik.

It's also a story about Iraq.

The two men first met in 2001,
