This evening we are returning to a tale of two cities.

But before that, let's take a moment to let go of the day.

Get comfy where you are and feel rooted and safe.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose for one, two, three, four.

And out through your mouth for one, two, three, four.

Continue breathing at this slow pace and as you inhale, imagine that you are breathing

in calmness and strength. As you exhale, imagine that you are breathing out, stress and worry.

Feel your anxiety slip away with each exhale.

If your mind drifts to thoughts of anxiety, acknowledge them, and then bring your attention back to your breath.

Monsieur Defarge returned to the wine shop where his wife sat knitting in the early morning hours surrounded already by drinkers.

Next he took the man upstairs to the garret,

last occupied by a shoemaker with white hair.

There they met the other three men, all called Jacques and closed the door.

In low tones, the road worker told the others about seeing a tall man underneath the carriage of the Marquise last summer in his village.
