Hubert George Chavez, born September 21st, 1902, was the youngest son of Sir William and

Lady Chevis, Amy Florence.

Called Hugh by everyone who knew him, the young boy spent most of his early life in India,

before later attending the Charterhouse School in Surrey.

Graduating from the Royal Military Academy in 1923 as a second lieutenant,

by 1931 he was an instructor at the Aldershot training camp in Hampshire.

He was also recently married to Francis Rawlison,

now Chavez, an extremely wealthy 29-year-old heiress, and was well-liked

and well-known within the high society that he found himself in.
