And this week, Marianne will be speaking with Aidan Kenkioku, who is a researcher at Pax Fauna.

This is a really interesting organization that's working on finding evidence-based strategies

to most effectively make change for animals.

Perfect for our henhouse, because that's exactly what we're interested in.

Aden is pulling together evidence to explain the power of these movement strategies and how they can be

most effectively deployed for animals. And I know that's something that you've been thinking a lot

about lately is theory of change and strategy and all of that. So this was a perfect time for this

interview to land in your lap. I mean, of course, we're always thinking about those things, but it's been particularly strong on my mind of late.

You know, I guess, like after you've been doing this for a while, I don't want to get into anything dark, but after you wonder, like, is what we're doing the right thing?

Is there any way to do this? Is there any, is there a way to

change the world for animals? Like, are we just doing the wrong thing? Why is this happening? Why do all these

people, all of these people who seem to care about animals keep contributing to this? And, you know,

it's easy to understand why the industries do it.

There's money in it.

There'll always be somebody to do something that there's money in.

I want to hear from everybody who's doing things that either are effective or they think are going to be effective or just have ideas.

We need more ideas.

And Aiden was a perfect person for that conversation.
