Summary

Leslie continues the Steadfast Heart series by sharing three Biblical keys for choosing peace over drama. When we build our lives around specific principles from God's Word, we can avoid the emotional turmoil that comes from getting involved in unhealthy human drama and experience a peace-filled existence. In this episode, Leslie unpacks these principles and offers specific ways to apply them to our lives as modern women. As Leslie reminds us, choosing peace over drama is an important key to true emotional health.

In this episode, we're going to be focusing on choosing peace over drama, which is easier said than done for a lot of us as women, and yet it has such an impact on the steadiness of our

heart and our emotional health. Before we jump in, I wanted to remind you that our set-apart

0:25.6

conference is coming up May 22nd and 23rd at the Ellersley campus, or you can join us anywhere via

simulcast. And our theme this year is fervent, pursuing passionate devotion to Jesus Christ.

0:35.8

I'm really excited about this theme because I think so often we equate spiritual passion with like emotional hype.

0:42.3

And sometimes we can feel like we're not really very spiritual or not very close to God if we don't have a lot of emotion.

And that can cause a lot of confusion in our lives.

0:49.7

So that's one of the themes we're going to be unpacking at this year's conference is how to remain passionate about Jesus even when our emotions are up and down. And how to remain passionate

0:59.9

about Jesus even in the trials and the difficulties that we face in our daily life, even in

the midst of a very busy and full life. And just how do we keep him at the forefront and remain

1:09.3

spiritually passionate? So if this is a topic that stirs your heart, I invite you to join us this year, either online or in person. If you're thinking about coming to Colorado, our on-campus space is filling very quickly. So I just encourage you to go online. You can go to setapart.org and click on events, or you can click on the link in this podcast description. Also, the simulcast is a great way to

powerful truths with women in your life. So let's dive into choosing peace over drama. In 2nd

church all around us. He said, I am afraid that when I come, I may not find you as I want you to be.
