so this is pretty surreal for me. But I know that there's other prison officers who listen to the podcast, so this might be a little bit weird for them to hear my voice going through their

car stereos. But yeah,

I know really thankful to have the opportunity to speak to you guys. Thank you, Oscar, for coming

along. I did just say before we hit record that I'm really worried that I'm going to call

Oscar Oliver, which is the name of Bethan's Baby, of course. So I really hope I don't do that. So yeah,

massive thank you from both of us, Oscar, for coming along. I have to really think about the

name then, for coming along. And I was just saying before we record, we tend to stop our cases

with a conviction. So a perpetrator is found guilty. Usually that's the end of an episode.

We pronounce their sentence and off they go and then our theme music plays. So we don't get to

hear what happens afterwards and what life is like for people in prison. And from time to time,

we've had people get in touch, whether they are a prisoner former prisoner people that work in prisons and this is the first opportunity that

we've had to get somebody on and get a real insight into what prison life is like so yeah we are

super excited to have you along. I know our listeners will

we too. So I wanted to begin if we can. Just if you don't mind Oscar, just give us a bit of a

brief summary or background of your career. So the different institutions that you've worked in,
