Today's 10 minute walk is happening with nothing but blue sky overhead, which is really kind of weird because maybe 30, 40 minutes ago,

we had a nice strong rain shower moved through the area. And just as quickly as it arrived, actually come to think of it,

it wasn't a quick arrival. When I woke up this morning, it was still dark, and I woke up to a

flash of light and looked out the window, and it was lightning. No rain, but there was lightning. And that lightning,

I think there was a storm that was hanging off the ocean. We live in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina,

and the storm was hanging off the ocean. And I don't know if what we got the rain from was that storm

or a different system, but there was lightning, there was some thunder, probably lasted for about an hour,

and then the rain moved through the area and lasted about a half hour or so.

And now we've got nothing but blue sky overhead.

It's a beautiful day.

And 34 years ago today, May 14, 1991, our oldest daughter was born.

Sarah Grace, we call her Grace. She is now married, the mother of five children.

She lives in Florida.

Gracie was the best birthday present I ever received because today is also my birthday and if

you're wondering I turned 65 and this birthday to me feels bigger than certainly

the most recent birthdays I've had.

And it's interesting when I was in my early 30s, there was someone that I knew, who was a handful of years older than me.

And he told me that when he turned 35, I think he might have been 36 at the time,

so it was a recent birthday for him.

He said that age made him feel really old.

And at the time I'm like, oh, really?
