The new suburb felt like a fresh start had this really idyllic feel to it full of these quirky little shops and bars.

It was safe, creative, very family friendly.

It just had that kind of energy energy to it a real community feel there was artists musicians people who seemed open and warm

it felt like the the right place to be.

I needed money for rent and bills so I started working at this European deli right in the heart of that area.

It was a really, really busy place.

Always buzzing with people. There was queues out the door
