Summary

Did I have too much caffeine before recording this one? Was that breakfast Butterfinger a bad idea? Is it possible I mistakenly took a double-dose of my medication so I was a little more scatterbrained than usual? ALL OF THE ABOVE may be true, but you're in for a super chaotic, somewhat unexpectedly long-winded gab sesh episode today! We're catching up on Halloween happenings, closet conundrums (wearing my $0 shorts as we speak, they're actually great), Buffy b-obsessions, calendar conquests, and so much more!!!! If it's a little out there (and if I said anything dumb or long winded I apologizeeEEE) but that's the magic of the gab sesh!!! I'm Carly Waisel and not toot my own horn. But I really feel like I nailed that intro. The hello was like, sometimes I, you know, I cascade down and I don't hit all the notes. I'm just blabbing up here. But at that time I really, ooh, I felt like it was totally correct. Ooh, my chorus days from high school have taught me well. Anyway, as you know,

0:40.6

today is a gab stash episode. I've been leaving notes over the past two weeks being like,

0:44.5

oh, don't forget to mention that. Oh, don't forget to mention that. We have a lot to get into.

0:47.5

We have a lot to get into today. But the things that are top of mind that I need to tell you about

0:51.4

are that I had friends over to play Domino's last night. I also learned how to play mahjong recently, which we will, I'm writing it down now. We have to talk about it soon. Mahjong. It's the craze among adult women. Anyway, I had my friends over to play dominoes last night and they were all talking me about protein intake. I live in West Hollywood. Also, anywhere now, people are very obsessed with protein. And I didn't realize a can of tuna is 40 grams of protein. Did you know that? I'm just down here eating tuna salad being like, wow, I should eat something more responsible than, like, tuna salad. Tuna salad, so much protein. I didn't know I was being healthy. I was being like a fit person without realizing. I was just walking in a circle eating at tuna salad. Fantastic. Also, I make my tuna salad. Okay, this is, if you don't like this, please listen to the rest of the episode. I'm not going to talk about it the whole time. I make my tuna salad. I don't know why I started doing this. I don't know who told me this was legal or okay. But I started making it with pickles and green olives. I will chop

1:46.9

up pickles and then chop up Casaville, Toronto olives, which are my favorite. Or I'll just get

1:51.7

like a regular old green olive. Chop them up, chop up a scalyon because long story short,

1:56.8

tummy stuff, I can't really have onions right now. I will chop those up and I'll put those in

2:00.7

the tuna salad. And it's fantastic. It's really fantastic. I know there was this thing that came out. I don't know. If you saw this online, you saw it and you know what I'm talking about. If you didn't, you didn't. Nicholas Sparks, the author, made a chicken salad with like a ton of splendor, like so much Splenda. And that blew my mind because putting Splenda and chicken salad sounded like an alien concept. But now I'm putting all these random things in my tuna salad. It's pretty good. I highly recommend you try it. And if you are horrified, I will never speak of it again. But it's really good. You should try it. You should try it. Anyway, we are going to gab. We're going to gab about more than pickles, more than tuna, more than Domino's, but we might come back to Domino's. In this week's episode, there's so much to talk about. There's been Disney News. There's life stuff. There's an update on like maybe I'm getting better at a functioning member in society. I'm going to get scheduling scheduling. Stick around. We're going to talk about it.

2:51.4
