Hey everyone, welcome back to the show.

I'm wishing you a happy Thursday in advance.

I usually record the show on Wednesday evenings to be as up to date as possible when the

show launches on Thursday.

However, I'm traveling this week, so I'm recording on Monday night in hopes that nothing

too crazy happens this week on Tuesday and Wednesday, which I actually think is very unlikely,

given especially one of the topics that we're talking about this week.

So let me give you the rundown.

If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I was talking about this book called Well

Red Black Girl.

So I had a chance to pick it up and give it a read.

And I don't have a review so much as I have some quick inspirations that are about the

book.

If you haven't heard of it, it's Gloria Edeem.

I hope I'm pronouncing her name the right way.

Gloria is the founder of Well Red Black Girl, which is technically a book club, but it's actually

more of a movement.

In addition to the book and the online spaces that she holds, she also has an annual festival

that celebrates black female authors, which is super exciting.
