case. On June 11, 2009, a man was executed for just a few of the many murders he claimed he committed,

a man who showed no remorse behind bars, and made sure that the public knew it. So if you like your

Stephanie Gash was abducted from the parking lot of her Birmingham, Alabama apartment complex

by a man named Jack Harrison Trawick.

Having followed the 21-year-old undetected while she drove from the local shopping center to home,

Jack took Stephanie to an isolated area, beat her with a hammer, strangled her, and then stabbed her through the heart.

Finished with his deadly deed, he threw Stephanie Gash's body off an embankment where

she was found the following day.

Partially nude, Stephanie's mouth and nose were covered with duct tape.

And when taken in for an autopsy, the medical examiner determined that her cause of death

was the three-inch knife wound to her heart

combined with asphyxiation.
