Did anyone there write former President Trump's remarks at the Al Smith dinner?

We did not. I'm glad that we didn't on some level because he went and then like

started trashing his joke writers afterward. So I guess it's always a little bit of a little explosive when you're writing for Trump.

Were you a little bit jealous that you didn't get the opportunity to write those jokes?

Yeah, you know, I mean he got some laughs but I guarantee at least three times the laughter
