to inform you, I am a middle-aged white man, curious about innovations in American hardcore,

and I've got two others with me, and we're going to go deep, deep, deep, to day into what's been

going on. First off, it's Chris Ryan, Chris Coast, the watch pod, dear friend of mine, and

crucially, former frontman of Crash Activated. Chris, don't even bother with that. Nobody's

consideration of hardcore songwriting. I'm sure all these hitmakers look at us. We're just

Yeah, it's exactly right. So long-time listeners of the show will find it curious

that I am indeed interested in innovations in American hardcore. But I am, and not simply because
