Today's episode is called Don't Be a Jerk. And it's not because I think any of you are jerks. I actually

think that if anybody can save the world, it is the very listeners of this podcast. You are some of the

most conscientious, smart, hardworking people that I've come into contact with,

and I know that that's the common thread between all of you and between all of us.

So I'm creating this episode for a couple reasons.

The first reason is that we are unfortunately living in a time where everybody is obsessed with themselves.

And that's not our fault, right?

Like, that's not our fault.

It is social media and it is the way that the world has shifted and changed and has created

us all into really big individualistic people. Okay. Like we think about ourselves

way, way too much. And I would argue that it's making us all very miserable. It's making us

all completely miserable because humans are actually not supposed to think about themselves as

much as we think about ourselves. I made a very, very viral TikTok last year where I said

everybody wants a village and no one wants to be a villager. And everybody in the comments

was agreeing. So it's like, okay, let's do that, right? Let's do that. So that's sort of what

this episode is about today um you know

when i made the episode last year about we need to be more interesting it was super popular it was

the most shared episode and i i took that as a sign to be like oh these are the people who can

create change in the world and And you think it's small.

You think, oh, how is my behavior going to change anything? I don't agree. First of all, this is a big community. Second of all, chips make chunks. And third of all, even if we can't change the behavior of everyone in the world, which we can't, we, I want you guys to be on the winning side, right? I want you guys to be the nice people with manners.

And I know you are, and I know you are.
