Summary

On today’s special edition, I begin by offering my observations on the first three days of war between Israel and Iran. At some point, we need to restore the laws of just war fighting if we are going to defeat savages. We’re joined by Yoram Hazony live from Israel for an on-the-ground perspective, as well as thoughts on American and nationalist foreign policy in general. Yoram makes the case that both hyper-interventionists and the new “peace movement” suffer from the same illness of utopianism. True realists and nationalists understand inherent human evil and the need to keep it in check without trying to micromanage the world. To that end, Yoram makes the case for America following Reagan’s approach to the Falklands War with Britian and standing up Israel and a long-term bulwark in the region. This is not an exercise in dragging us into war, but quite the contrary: Standing up strong regional allies is the key to protecting our interests without being embroiled in every conflict. 1:12.6	We have the political war, not just with the left, but within the right, understanding what
1:19.0	it is we believe on fundamental issues.
1:22.8	And that in itself ties into the third war, obviously, between Israel and Iran, and yes, yes, it is meaningful to
1:31.8	us. Yes, not having the Iranian mullahs have nuclear weapons is a goal for us. Yes, they have
1:39.9	been killing Americans for 46 years more than any country has done since our involvement
1:45.5	in Vietnam. You know, whether they were in theaters we shouldn't have been in is a different
1:50.7	story, but they were doing that. So it matters. So we're going to focus on really the latter
