On this episode of The Oddcast, I asked my mother a question and got a very surprising answer. Maybe it's a question you should try asking your mom. We always have an odd one in the crowd, so it's kind of odd. I'm excitedly odd. Doesn't that strike you as a little bit odd? No, it doesn't strike me as a little bit odd. It's the Bob and Sherry Oddcast with stuff we wouldn't, couldn't, or shouldn't do on the regular show.

Now, here's the odd cast.

I had never really given it much thought before, but I've been spending a ton of time with

my mom looking after her now that she's gotten up there and needs a little more help.

And so we have a lot of time to just sit and talk.

And she's told me all these stories about her early life. And it's been fascinating. And I've

learned things about my older brother, you know, because I, you know, I wasn't around for some of

these memories. And my mom lost twin boys who would have been my, I would have had three older brothers

and no younger brother if life had worked out a little differently.

So I, you know, I've heard the stories of that pregnancy and all these things that I didn't

know.

So I said to my mom, well, mom, let me ask you a question.

Looking at like me and Mark, that's my brother, looking at me and Mark today, did we turn

out like you thought we would when we were little? Because so Lamar's the other parent in the room.

Lamar, when you look at your children, are they as adults what you imagine they might be when they were little?

Yeah, yeah.

The boys both were going to be NBA basketball players.

I never got confused on that.

But yeah, I felt like they would be fairly successful.

And not even in terms of occupation, but like personality. So like, for example, you all have watched Karamia grow up, right? Yes. Yes. I think we all, I mean, I was, Caramea was doing

PowerPoints at nine to try to persuade me to take her to L.A. for pilot season. I thought we all were
