One of the deeper philosophical questions I'm currently wrestling with is what is the line between politics and religion?

Maybe this is why those political systems that have best left room for religion end up having more of a harmony than those that try and suffocate that out, you know, which is, you know, technically what the communist did.

But I guess the extent to which politics then is working well is the extent to which it is local,

right? Because once you get into this non-local global politics,

fiat war machine thing, then all of a sudden it really becomes about breaking rules and taxation and inflation, like all these crazy things that are very

distinctly unethical.

All the AI dudes were like radical atheists.

Yes.

They literally are trying to build an AI god.

It's the funniest shit to watch and they're all sitting there like bowing at the altar

of AGI.

You know what I mean?

Humans have a basic religious impulse, right?

And if you remove religion from the equation, that religious impulse gets attached to something else.

Like, you know, when you see real courage, it really shakes you inside.

I don't know what it is.

It's something that sort of transcends words, right?

Like, you see it, feel feel it and it fucking moves you.

Courage is faith in action, maybe.
