And there are a lot of reasons why I think that has been sort

When we entered into the world of personal finance, it was pretty much a world that

exclusively catered to men. And not only are women often left out of the financial conversation,

it's also something that tends to be a problem, especially long-term financial planning,

regardless of things like education levels.

A lot of you may be aware that women are increasingly more educated on average than men,

but in heterosexual partnerships, it is still, even when that is the case,

generally the case that men will manage things like long term finances.

They'll make the big decisions.

They'll plan for retirement.

They will also typically earn more.

And in cases where couples have children,

while women will see long-term punishments on their earning potential

and face a lot of consequences in the workplace,

men actually earn more as time goes on with having children,
