I gave a talk at Stanford University alongside Tyra Banks to people that are focusing on their own personal branding. It's time to start realizing that you need to be giving away more than you're asking for - that's the only way to see results and growth. If there's one key point to take from this it's that it doesn't matter HOW many followers your have. It's what value you provide to them, and how big of an impact you have on them. 0:55.6	Everybody's just basically using it as a distribution to whatever they selfishly want.
1:01.8	And so I really believe the best way to be selfish in life, which manifests in social today,
1:08.8	is to be selfless in a crowd of voices where everybody's taking, you know, I'm trying
1:14.6	to give as much as humanly possible.
1:19.1	I give away all my best information, like all of it.
1:22.7	So in a world where a lot of people monetize information, I give it away for free at scale.
1:28.0	I spend an ungodly amount of time answering questions and surprising people.
1:33.2	As my profile is grown and people think it's cool for me to say hello, I'll just do it

1:39.1	And so I just think the normal, it's really very simple.
