You see, the Bible tells us that no one will ever be saved by their good works, or who you know, or how good you've been.

That makes no difference to Jesus Christ.

The only way that any one of us can ever be saved or actually go to heaven is by putting our trust and faith in Jesus Christ, period.

We're going to be dealing with the kind of person that God uses as one that understands

salvation.

And here in the gospel of Luke chapter 13, Jesus himself is making some really radical, he's actually given some radical answers to some radical

questions. In chapter 13 of Luke's gospel, first of all, the first question that the Pharisees

were asking Jesus was a political one, asking about justice. The second question they ask in the book here in this chapter

is actually a question about the Sabbath or it's a legal question. But we want to deal with the

third question, and that's in verse 22. It's a theological question. It's about salvation. How many people are going to be

saved? Does the Bible tell us how many people will be in heaven? That's a very important question.

And how many people are really going not only to accept Christ as their

savior but when you look at the massive crowds of people and you watch a Billy Grand

Crusade or any kind of a crusade and you watch people come forth to accept Christ how many of

those are really genuine conversions?
