Summary
This week, David is enjoying the new Kacey Musgraves album (Star-Crossed), which leads them into Jeff Bezos and the Met Gala. That is the push they need to get into talking about The Devil Wears Prada 2. David fills you in on the plot and they discuss why the movie looks different from its 2006 counterpart. This prompts the three Millennials to discuss what Millennial Nostalgia projects are in the works to capitalize on the movies of our past. Katey pitches The Audacity to the boys. That brings Patches, somehow, to a dentist story, which in turn brings David to Silent Friend, directed by Ildikó Enyedi that is in very limited release on the coasts. The boys in the hosts’ lives have been turning objects into blasters and violence, and Patches is wondering if it relates to media and Star Wars Day in public schools.

What am I thinking of Didn't they get a whole show? You're right. There was like a Madagascar spinoff. The Penguins. Oh, the Penguins. You're right. They have a Lemurs Island. There's lemurs there too. Whatever. I'm Matt Patchett. Patchett is recording this episode from his bed, by the way. Hey, hey, hey, hey. |

I thought about it. And I just love polar bears. I did wonder if it was because of Coca-Cola commercials or something. But I think it's just I like that they can go swimming in tanks, they're cold. I like being |

| 1:43.2 | question was all about which animal you want to see solving crimes as opposed to more specifically more generally which animal you want to see more of in a movie. Oh, I think both of us, I think both of us mentioned crimes in our answers. Well, they need to be involved in cinematic mysteries. It doesn't have to be a crime and they don't have to be solving them be, they can be the culprit. For that reason, I'm going to choose an orca just because I think it would be really great to have an orca wearing a Sherlock Holmes hat and smoking a pipe and solving sea crimes. I think we all came up as good ideas. I think we all came up as good ideas. Well, please don't spoil my orca movie. Wake up. the up. Dead fish. You can't fight in here. This is the war room. Fine, I can hear you now, Dimitri. I can no longer sit back and allow. Clear and plain and coming through fine. Subversion. I'm coming through fine, too, eh? And the international conspiracy. Well, then, as you say, we're both coming through fine. The sap and impurify. I agree with you. It's great to be fine. All of our precious bodily fluids. It's a podcast. Hello and welcome to fighting in the war room. It's not a numbered episode yet again because we're working on getting our acts together, but it is still |
