the world, I've been thinking a lot about hospitals.

I've been thinking about my friends who work in hospitals and I text them to tell them

that I'm worried about them and that I'm proud of them.

And I've been thinking about all the ways that we've collectively upended our lives,

essentially four hospitals we're trying to flatten the curve because we don't want to

overwhelm them.

But for all the ways that hospitals are at the center of the fear and anxiety that we're

all feeling right now, most of us don't really know anything about what it's like to

be inside a hospital in the middle of this outbreak, like what's happening in New York.

New York City right now is the epicenter of the coronavirus in the United States.

It has far and away the most infections, the most deaths.
