Thank you. One of the big demographic stories from the last, oh, four or five years has been what demographers and people who watch population patterns call interstate migration, people moving from, say,

California to Texas or California to Florida. We've heard a lot about blue states emptying out

in favor of red states. Well, there's a new study that claims that young adults are leaving

states that have passed strong pro-life laws to go

to states that are more more pro-abortion. Is it true? Welcome back to Issues, etc. joining

to talk about this new study, Dr. Michael New. He's visiting assistant professor of social

research and political science at the Catholic University of America,

Sure.

This new report claims that people, especially young adults, are leaving states that have strong pro-life laws in effect.

What they did is they analyzed some change of address data from the U.S. Postal Service,

and they arrive at the conclusion,

then again, those states with strong pro-life laws, lots of young adults are leaving.

What is at least one basic data-gathering flaw of this report?
