The Gospel is the good news of salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ,

but it is only good news to those who hear it.

Every believer is to go with the Gospel.

Today, we study with Scott Pauling what God's word teaches about becoming a more

effective witness for Christ.

There is a beautiful simplicity to salvation. Paul called it the simplicity that is in Jesus Christ.

Salvation is not difficult. No, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. That's the

simplest thing in the world. The difficulty lies in the center seeing his own lost condition and

admitting his need for Savior.

Salvation is not difficult.

The difficulty lies in getting those who know the message of salvation to go with it, to carry it to other people.

2 Timothy 2, verse 25, says that repentance is an acknowledging of the truth. In order for a man to be

saved, he first has to realize that he's lost. That's the work of the scriptures and the work

of the Holy Spirit, but it is a work that we participate in. In other words, how can they ever

hear the truth if someone doesn't tell them? How can they ever believe on the Lord Jesus Christ if someone

doesn't deliver that message? We're talking about going with a gospel, and today we've come in our

study to one of the most famous chapters in all of the Bible. It's John chapter number three.

Now, of course, John 3 is famous for John 316, for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever

believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Now, if you ever ask the average

person if they've heard that verse, most people have heard it, perhaps they memorized it as a child,

and yet, if you ask the average person, do you know the context of that

verse? Do you know where it is found? What story precedes it? Most people would not know. And yet,
