And now for a moment of clarity.

It's their faith in Trump as a character in this story that allows them to backfill and build out this alternative fantasy that perpetuates his political power, that keeps everybody else in line.

So when these things start to unravel, it unravels really, really fast.

Well, I think probably what reinforces that unraveling is the fact that there's this little

thing now, okay, I probably some folks who'll be hearing this for the first time called

real life.

And real life involves real things like bills, jobs, children, responsibilities.

And so when you have polling out that shows that prices and inflation are driving those things.

So his brother's in this conversation.

And he's saying, well, nothing I want has gotten done.

Well, that's because folks

don't feel that things are benefiting them right now 60% are saying um when asked if they're

better off uh than they really are um 27% about as they really are worse worse than they really are, 13%.

There's this tension out there where people are kind of looking at the economies of their

own personal economies and seeing and feeling that impact.

How does that translate in this ecosystem, that real life piece?

Because it's one thing to live in a conspiracy world.

And then there's another thing that come from downstairs out of the room

or to walk out on the front porch and get in the car and realize, oh, I don't have enough gas.

Or I got to go to a grocery store and buy some beef.

Beef is up 12%.

That's the part that's interesting because they, they're not attacking Trump yet, right? They're not saying he is the reason this is all happening. They're expressing their frustration in these polls, even in Fox News polls. It's his fault. You know, they're mad at them or at least the White House. They're mad at the White House, which of course is Trump. The tell, though, is that when they do talk about these things, they say, boy, both sides have really screwed us here. Both sides have messed this up. This is why I don't have faith in government, right? So you start to go back to old school sort of, you know, anti-government republicanism. and that's their way of masking, acknowledging the problem because it's no longer,
