Here was the secret of his great grace and spiritual strength,

deriving instruction from such a source and seeking it with diligence.

He was comforted in all his trials.

We are continuing our series on Charles Simeon who pastor the same church in Cambridge,

England for 54 years before dying in 1836.

And his time in the pastorate was marked by significant trials.

And the question we need to answer is, where did he find the strength to endure?
