Hey guys, it's me again, Jackie, in case that wasn't clear from the image on this feed. But this is the last time you guys are going to be hearing from me, at least for now. The plan was that we were going to share the first three episodes of my new show, theater girl on the She's All Batch feed. And then going forward, the episodes would only be released on my feed. So if you guys have been liking my new show,

you can head over there to listen from now on. But that's not to say maybe I won't pop in every now and

then and do a little recap episode with Stephanie or something else. I'm not gone from your

lives forever. You can't get rid of me that easily. But yeah, so I wanted to pop on here to

share a little bit about the episode I'm releasing this week, which you can find on my feed.

This week, we are covering what I believe to be the hottest and best new show on Broadway this season.

And I know already with that coming out of my mouth, how crazy that sounds, because the show that I'm talking about is cats.

And before you go, like,

um, hello, like isn't that, like I heard about that movie with Taylor Swift and Jason Derulo. And

isn't that that weird show from the 80s where there's humans literally in furry leotards and

they're purring on you and it's crazy? Like, yes, I am talking about that cats, but also kind of no. This revival of

cats and I like am dying on this hill. I'm shouting it from the rooftops this Tony season is a

totally reimagined version of the show. While it is verbatim like the classic Andrew Lloyd-Weber

music and score, they took cats and they set it in a ballroom, which is kind of, if you don't

know what ballroom is. It's like a niche underground queer space. If you guys ever watch

that show Pose with Billy Porter, I think that's a really good example of ballroom culture.

And so in switching that setting, I feel like this production transformed into like the most electric and fun,

but also incredibly layered, touching, most heartwarming shows I've seen in a really,

really, really long time. So this episode that I have this week is a conversation with

three friends of mine. We all went to go see cats, and then we all discussed it. And I chose these friends because they're all really knowledgeable in their own ways about ballroom

and drag. So what resulted was what I thought was like a really great conversation about this
