I just want to say, yes, there's been no podcast.

Before I get into why, I also just want to say, I am aware that if you're getting your

podcast from Apple, that we've just disappeared.

That isn't our fault.

There's some problem at Apple HQ, and much as I think we're vital to radio, that don't quite sit the same way.

There are loads of people all over the world whose podcasts have just disappeared.

Anyway, that's boring. I haven't left this short message just to drone on about that,

other than the fact that we are working with Apple to sort this out ASAP. So sorry if we've not been there. I hope you can

find my words. I've been off sick the last couple of days, which is why there's been no

podcast for the last few days in May. I've had gastroenteritis. The good news about being so violently

ill is I've lost three kilos in weight. And when you're in your 40s, that's like a bonus. You look

at the scales and you go, wow, that's great in three days. Yes, it's been hell, but oh. So sorry

there's been no show. We are back next week and next week will be the first few days in June.

should never have worked. And for the first year made me question many times, will it work? Why did I

do this? Why did I come here? Why did I leave Richie in absolute?

But yeah, it's three years old, which is remarkable. And my book about moving here,

why I actually left the UK and a radio show I loved and chatting to a lot of you that still

listen to me now is coming out next week here in Australia on June the 1st
