are still in our Advent season celebration, and we're looking forward to the Christmas season.

That's really what Advent is all about, and today I've entitled our episode a message

for the downcast. Think about that for a moment. Wherever you are in life, you know what

it's like to be downcast. You know what it's like to be discouraged, and to be in a place

of turmoil in your own life. That's what the message today is for, and it's in light

of the promise of Christmas. Let's read together. We're going to read in Psalm chapter 43,

verses 3 through 5. It says, send out your light and your truth. So this is a prayer.

This is speaking to God. It says, send out your light and your truth. Let them lead me.

Let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling. Then I will go to the altar

of God to God, my exceeding joy, and I will praise you with the liar of God, my God.

Why are you cast down? Oh, my soul. And why are you in turmoil within me? Hoping God,

for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God. Now this passage just drips with
