In every society, there are, how shall we say it, classes of people. We hear a lot of talk about the middle class, for example,

or the upper class, or the lower class. In other societies, they would talk about the aristocracy,

the elite, and then they would talk about the common man, the common people. The truth of the matter

is, we're all just common people. Christ was

anything but common. He was the God man, and yet his heart and his ministry was really geared

to the common man. I think that's beautiful, because it reveals to us the uncommon love of God.

He did not come to do something for those who could do something for him in return.

He did not come and gear his ministry to the rich and the elite and the religious, educated.

No, he went to the common people. And that's revealed to us in Mark chapter number 12.

Now, you remember that the Lord Jesus has been going through a series of questions from a number of different people, and finally, finally the questions stop.

Verse number 34 says, and no man after that durst ask him any question. But in verse 35, Jesus turns it around and he asks a question.
