And I believe this might be the very first time that I've ever done this in 13 years of doing this podcast.

I'm putting up a little message just after the release of a full episode so that I could retract something we talked about in the episode.

We were talking about a game.

We're talking about Brazil Imperial.

And we got a rule wrong in that game. Now,

everybody out there who plays board games gets rules wrong every now and then. They misread

something in the rulebook. They forget something. Whatever. But not everybody's doing podcasts,

right? And yes, as podcasters, we have screwed up rules here and there as well. So generally,

it's not really a big deal to get a rule

wrong. But when you're doing a podcast and giving your opinion about a particular game and that

rules mistake actually affects your opinion of a game, it feels really bad. It's important to

make sure that the listeners know exactly where we're coming from

and why we say the things we do. And if we made a mistake and that made us say something bad about a game,

that's not fair to the game designer and it's not fair to the listeners. So I wanted to come on here and

talk about that a little bit. So the game was Brazil Imperial. And in the commentary about that game,

I mentioned that there are exploration tiles that you're sprinkled about the board. And in the commentary about that game, I mentioned that there are exploration

tiles that, you know, sprinkled about the board. And when you discover them, some of them are

worth victory points. And I felt like they were out of balance. I even say, you know, three tiles over

here together are worth five points, whereas this one over here is worth nine points.

Well, they weren't worth nine points.
